Sims 4 Cheats

To enter any of these cheat codes press CTRL + Shift + C to bring up the text box, this is where you will enter any text string cheats.

Inside the text box type in testingcheats on this cheat turns on many of the other cheats. Without it, some cheats will not work.

For this listing, the bolded text is the code. If there is a # you will need to replace that # with the desired number for the code to work.

General Cheats

• Help List of all normal cheats in cheat mode
• hovereffects on/off Enables or (disables) the hover effect on Sims and objects (great for recording or taking screenshots).
• headlineEffects on/off Enables or (disables) the headline effects and plumbob (great for recording or taking screenshots).
• household.autopay_bills true/false Enables or (disables) bill auto-pay for your Sim household.
• fps on/off Toggles on your game’s FPS, frames per second
• Fullscreen Toggle Switches between fullscreen and windows mode without going through options.
• cas.fulleditmode Unlocks Create Sim options on the active household.
• Sims.fill_all_commodities Fills all motives of all Sims
• Stats.fill_commodities_household Fill all motives of Sims in the active household.
• sims.get_sim_id_by_name SimFirstName SimLastName Gets Sim’s is which is used for specific cheats.
• resetSim FirstName LastName Resets Sim
• Objects.consumables_infinite_toggle Makes all consumables; food, potions, etc infinite.
• Object.setashead – click SHIFT+left mouse button on an object and click set as head to place item on Sim’s head.
• Ui.toggle_silence_phone Disables or enables Sim’s phone ringer (sound).

• FreeRealEstate on FREE housing (type this cheat in the text box when you are shopping for a new lot).

Build/Buy Cheats

• bb.moveobjects on overrides object placing rules and allows more placement options.
• bb.showhiddenobjects enables buy debug mode items.
• bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement unlocks all career reward items.
• bb.showliveeditobjects unlocks more world environment objects. (must be used after bb.showhiddenobjects).
• bb.enablefreebuild enables editing of secret lots; police station, hospital, etc.
• Shift + ] Increases the size of the selected object.
• Shift + [ Decreases the size of the selected object.
